Mikkel Dissing is the CEO & founder of PanicGuard and as such responsible for the overall direction of the company. Mikkel has more than 14 years experience in TMT (Technology, Media and Telecom) and early stage Venture as a founder of several high growth technology companies. He holds a Msc. in business from Aalborg university in Denmark and a Bachelors degree in finance.
Kevin has a wealth of experience in providing high-performance digital solutions and system integrations as well as innovative creative design and hardworking online marketing. Having worked as a consultant across multiple projects from many different industry sectors, Kevin has gained vast experience delivering digital and design solutions that deliver on their promises to meet business objectives, budget and timescales
Michael is a corporate and commercial lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in UK and global business. Having worked in-house with a leading UK plc, he then worked as a partner in successive US law firms, specialising in venture capital and private equity technology transactions, alongside clients such as Deutsche Bank, Intel Capital, Orange Ventures, Motorola Ventures and Cisco. He was recognised by Chambers Guide and Legal 500 as a leading UK lawyer. Michael is a co-founder of PanicGuard and joined the Board in June 2012.
Raphael has over 10 years’ business development experience supporting with growth and expansion of start-ups across a variety of industries including recruitment, media and technology. Raphael’s responsibilities include but are not limited to expanding PG’s partner relationships, supporting existing distributors and finding partners in new countries. Raphael holds a Bachelor’s degree in International business along with a CIM and diploma in events marketing.
Morten Petersen has a decade of TMT experience spanning from high-tech start-ups to established giants like Telefonica, accruing vast experience in transforming complex solutions into simple, understandable and tangible values which customers and partners enjoy. He holds a Msc in international Business Economics and a Bachelors degree in Economics from Aalborg University in Denmark.
Richard Walker is a Non-Executive Director of PanicGuard having been involved in advising and raising funding for the company since its inception. Following a long career in investment banking, latterly as a director of the European M&A team of Barclays Capital, in 2011 Richard became a founder shareholder and director of Smythe House Limited. Richard is also a partner of Jenson Solutions Limited and sits on the boards of a number of other investee companies. Richard holds a BSc in Economics and is an Associate of the ICAEW (ACA).
Elizabeth has more than twenty years of professional work experience as office administrator for companies such Coca-Cola, Huntsworth, DHL and Pearson publishing. Elizabeth is responsible for running PanicGuard on day a day to basis and there is little that does not pass through her one way or the other.
Darnell has a well rounded understanding of both IT software and hardware, which enables him to be the interface between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Previous Project Management experience includes Software Development, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure and eMarketing. Companies worked for include RM Data Solutions, Advanced 365 and Creatormail. To supplement his working knowledge of IT Darnell has also studied both front and back end software development.
Yana has over 4 years of Project Management experience in the IT industry, working with clients from a wide range of industries. Yana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Events Management and a Master’s Degree in International Business Management. Her responsibilities consist of managing and maintaining client relationships, as well as providing system training.
Alexander has an AP Degree in Multimedia Design and a Bachelor's degree in Web Development from Denmark. Working with professional tools and making digital projects in leisure time since 2007, Alexander gathered a lot of experience and technical knowledge in this industry. In addition to that, he specializes in hardware, maintenance and scripting.
Taras Zakrevskiy has worked as a full-stack web developer for 10 years, specialising in PHP, front-end web development, MySQL/Redis, VPN configuration, Linux tuning, Apache/Nginx web servers, and Amazon Web Services. Prior to joining PanicGuard Taras worked for Stuzo, Deep Design, and Garis Graphics. Taras has a BS in computer science from Zhytomyr State Technological University.
Paul Otchere has worked in software, hardware and web development for over 8 years. Paul has worked on large enterprise systems and small niche applications for Government agencies, multinational corporations, Small businesses and Individuals. Paul holds a Bachelors degree in Software design and Networks, plus a certification in Java and Cisco Networking. He is also Studying for his PhD degree in Electromagnetism and Magneto Hydrodynamics.
Patrick is an expert advisor on providing Lone Worker services and serves as the Chairman of the British Security Industry Association Lone Worker Section. Patrick worked on the Design, construction and operation of a BS8484/BS5979 Category II Alarm Receiving Centre dedicated to Lone Worker alarm monitoring, including processes, procedures and training. He authored the Lone Worker standard BS8484. Patrick enjoys occasional public speaking and in conjunction with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, is the industry authority on BS8484 accreditation.
Gordon is a South African, based in Cape Town, with responsibility for PanicGuard in Africa. His location, together with a background in property and the hotel industry, ensure that he has an excellent understanding of the importance of PanicGuard in the fight against crime. Relationships with existing security providers, delivering additional protection, have been very significant in growing the market and providing rapid, effective support.
Michael graduated in International Business in the Netherlands and moved back to Brazil where he worked for 6 years as a business consultant at Arthur Andersen and later at Plaut Consulting. Leaving the consulting business and partnering for 10+ years with a large local system integrator, gave Michael his expertise and experience in Brazil's Electronic Security Market. As such he managed many large scale security projects. At present Michael is partner at xToc and representing exciting (V)SAAS and Cloud solutions like PanicGuard in Brazil.
Buzz has 21 dog years of extensive experience of working as a chief barking officer. Buzz has served diligently as head of PanicGuards canine division, whilst also having the full responsibility of all dog biscuit related matters. Buzz is currently providing Security services to the premises and is responsible for Access Control and Identification.
Michel Jacques has been in business development and sales from the start of his career. Recognized for his creative and strategic approach to the market, he has helped many companies to grow in North America. Michel has worked in many different industries such as food products and beverages, business services and security. He is passionate about how to achieve performance in sales and how to build strong relations with customers.
